Who am I?
Berker, a 28-year-old traveler who has settled into Istanbul for a period of time after travelling dozens of countries by cycling, hitchhiking and sweeping across the mother earth by limitless train journeys…I will be your host for the house and a travel guide for your journeys in Turkey where I hitchhiked more than 10000km more or less every part of this country. I am working as a structural designer for an Istanbul-based construction company that constructs new railroads throughout Africa.

Located nearby the heart of Istanbul, yet far away from its overcrowded streets, this will be the best feature of the house for tenants and also the most important part which makes it valuable. It is located on “Bagdat Street,” right in front of Fenerbahce Football Stadium.

*15-20min (1.2km) from the famous nightlife center of Kadıköy

*20 min to Taksim Square. There is a direct transportation option from the front of the building to Taksim Square! It operates 24 hours a day and really fast except rush hours. It is the best transport option, which takes you directly your home after partying all night around Taksim.
*15-20 min to the European side of the city by the metrobus line. Working 7/24, fast, dependable and only 350m from the house. Metrobus will be your emergency exit from the traffic jams. As the house is located at the first station, you will always find a place to sit and read your book, as the bus finds its way to the European side…
*1 min to Kadıköy ferry docks by public transportation, if you don’t want to walk for 15 min. There you’ll have dozens of ferries nearly every dock of the city, including the historical parts of Eminonu, Karakoy, Kabatas, Besiktas and the Prince Islands etc.
*Direct connection to the E-5 highway, if you have a car.
*This is the best means of transport that I use every single day for 12 months. Bicycle lines are separated from the traffic and both pedestrians and cars are pretty respectful to the cyclists around my neighborhood. The duration of journeys are as follows:

Description of the house
There are 3 bedrooms for 3 tenants in the house. One is occupied by me and the remaining two will be occupied by two other tenants.
There is a spacious L-shaped living room with a balcony which provides 3 ‘seat and table’ combination for 3 tenants. All ‘seat and table’ areas have separate light controls. That means that anyone sharing the house would be able watch/read/eat/chat in the same living room without disturbing others. There is a sound system in the house, controlled from the living room which can also provide music to balcony and kitchen.
Kitchen is spacious enough to provide ample space for 3 tenants to prepare food simultaneously. I love cooking and the kitchen is fully equipped more or less everything you need and don’t need. Bathroom is quite new and clean.
Description of the room
The room subjected to this advertisement has a big and new double bed. It has a new and increadibly functional wardrobe, which I am sure will be more than enough for your needs. In case of need, a wall-mounted drop-leaf table and a chair can be provided into the room.

Rules of the house
Don’t worry, because the list is not long. The lady living downstairs is a bit sensitive to the noise, and thus no loud sex and no late partying please. When she is on vacation, you can even burn the house down because nobody creates any problem rather than the lady. Quite hours start after 11pm. No smoking inside the house, but the balcony is comfortable. No pets pls. No TV. Living room is for the use of 3 tenants, be respectful. Kitchen countertops remain clean all the time. This is a LGBTQ friendly house, if you feel like you are not comfortable with it, please don’t waste your time to contact me. We clean the house every week but cleaning lady-twice-a-month is the other option if every tenant agrees.
I am a quite tidy and clean guy who does his best to ensure that the house is always clean. In this scope, there will be a cleaning lady to clean the house twice a month and we are responsible to keep it clean afterwards.

A big refrigerator that will be enough for the use of 3 tenants
A dishwasher and a washing machine
Most of the kitchen equipment you can imagine, including a pasta machine, electrical fruit juicer, toast machine, small oven, anything related to coffee etc.
A rowing machine, types of weights, some more workout equipment to be used
Separate cabinets in the bathroom for every tenant
Nothing worth noting as disadvantage?
Living room and its balcony are looking directly to the stadium and Bagdat Street therefore there will be a sound of crowd at the time of football matches but don't worry it is only 3 times a month even for the peak match season and generally at the weekends. Trafic noise of Bagdat Street can be annoying from dawn to dust but you don't notice it at night and generally it is easy to get used to within a week then you don't even notice the sound.
